At Pet Sitting in the Woods, we provide a unique and all-inclusive service that differs from the typical pet sitting service. We not only provide a safe environment to care for your pet during your absence, but we also provide additional services that set us apart from other dog day care facilities. Our business model is one which engages the whole pet. Your dog will be provided with a safe, "pet proof" area which boasts a large fenced yard. Your pet will be supervised constantly by both staff and an extensive closed-circuit video camera system.

Your pet will be engaged in organized, supervised play while with us. Our pet guests are exercised and engaged in play several times throughout the day and evening. During the play sessions, our dogs are grouped with like sized guests and remain with a staff member to eliminate the potential for injury. Our dogs are NEVER left to wander unattended as is the case with some pet sitting services. When not engaged in organized outdoor play, our guests remain with staff and are treated as they would be in your own home. Our guests are provided with indoor toys for their continued stimulation and also provided with their own individual space should they choose not to play. We treat your dog as we would our own. They are able to interact with staff and our other well socialized clients. Since dogs are pack animals, we seek to provide an environment as close to a pack environment as possible. For those clients who take advantage of our overnight pet sitting services, pets are provided a bed and are also supervised by staff during the totality of their overnight visit.

We conceived of and brought to fruition a pet sitting service that caters to a particular pet owner. Our clients view their pets as "family members" and not merely as "family pets". Clients come to us for a particular reason-they desire their pets to be cared for as they would in their own homes. They don't want just a place to leave their pet and someone to provide food and water, but an environment that provides for their pets safety, health and socialization.
