*DANGEROUS to my Army Veteran elderly father! I've filed a complaint with the Department of Professional Regulation against the company. With one or two exceptions, their "Home Aides" are nothing more than people who have no training, and no idea about hygiene, safety or what they're supposed to do. One aide made my dad's meal with no gloves, just reached right into the lunchmeat bag and dug out some ham. Another just sat and played on her phone, even while my father sat slouching dangerously in his chair. I sent both of these home and asked for someone else. Another one we sent home early as she was coughing and sneezing, and not covering her mouth. She offered to "clock out later" so we don't "lose the hours". I said no thanks.
The agency knew I had previously requested the VA get a different agency, and that I intended to do so again.
Instead of just accepting that they'd lost a client, Kristin told me she actually called the VA to state my father 'keeps refusing services' and that the VA is cancelling his services. We'll have to start over to get a different agency. That takes a LONG time with the VA and they know this.
They've put my father's health, welfare, safety and life at risk without the home care he should be receiving.

PLEASE consider your loved one's safety - especially if they can't tell you or anyone what treatment they experience. I'm thankful I was here to witness some of the outright unsanitary and neglectful actions of this company's employees.
