Michelle S. owner and head critter sitter started this company because she noticed a need for a service that would pet sit for more than just cats and dogs. She found herself missing out on friends' weddings and her family members' big events like her brother's graduation from collage because she couldn't find anyone to watch her "zoo" while she went out of town. She even went as far as to ask a boarding facility if they could take in a turtle for a few days. The answer of course was no. She found herself having to burden her parents with watching "the horde" just so she and her husband could have a few days to celebrate their anniversary and when she got home she starting thinking that maybe there were other people like her. Maybe she wasn't alone in this struggle to find affordable, reliable, friendly, pet care. Pet care that catered to not just cats, not just dogs, but all pets large and small.



"Don't get me wrong, I have three dogs and two cats whom I love to the end of the earth and back! I love all animals even most of the creepy crawly ones" She paused "But I understand the hardship that comes with owning a critter other than a cat or dog and trying to find someone who is confident in their ability to properly take care of them so that I can go out of town for awhile because I also have a 12-year-old turtle." Michelle said shaking her head. "I don't think owning a pet should have to mean you can't have a life too and that's where we at My Critter Sitter come in!
