At Griswold Home Care, we use a proprietary screening process to select our caregiver employees. They are able to handle all of your non-medical, customized needs including personal care, assistance with all the activities of daily living, meal preparation, transportation, safety supervision and companionship. All caregivers are our employees and are bonded and insured.

Having an aide coming Into the house and helping my dad was all new to me. Griswold was amazing coming out to the house, going over everything that dad needed help with and coming up with a plan. The aide they paired us with is amazing. We get check ins to make sure everything is going smooth. Dad is going out more now that he has someone to take him while I am working.

My experience with Griswold home care was horrendous. They are very good at marketing, but fail when it comes to delivery. They do not accept responsibility for providing ongoing 24 hour care which was the whole purpose of hiring through an agency. I provided training for five days to their employee in the care of a bed bound patient. Two days after I returned home, I was informed she was leaving at the end of the week. And Griswold had no one to provide as a replacement.

Amazing. They truly CARE and respect their clients, and in choosing a homecare company - that is the #1 thing you want to be able to trust them.. and Griswold is a name you can TRUST that your loved one is in caring, professional hands. Highly recommend.

The things about Griswold that are most appealing to me are the reliability and flexibility. I know if I request a caregiver, that person has been throughly vetted and is safe. I also know that the caregiver will be introduced to me by the appropriate person from Griswold and if "The Chemistry" isn't there, I am under no obligation to hire this particular caregiver but Griswold will then select another person for me to meet until I am satisfied. And I can also change caregivers if the one I selected dosen;t work out. This is what I mean about reliability and flexibility. It is so very important.
