Very pathetic care! Mike is a salesman and will make you think it is well run and has great caregivers. No. They did not read or follow very simple directions/notes about care. Put my Dad to bed for the entire day. Half of the food I had on a detailed menu was left and never served to him. There were holes burned in a bag and a dish towel. Dirty dishes upon my return. No housekeeping to speak of. Upon my return I found my Dad in his recliner with his shoes on and hearing aids in. He had not been put to bed the night before and was left to sleep in his chair for the entire night. H
Instructions were not followed as to taking him outside for a walk and to sit on the patio. His TV was turned down so low, he could not hear it. The thermostat was changed 3 degrees. The biggest thing was a caretaker disagreed about locking my Dad's door while he was alone. Which he is fine and has everything he needs within reach. She called me to say she would not do it moments before her shift was over. The owner Mike knew I did this and was positive about it. The intake person Mary, also knew and wrote it on the caretaking overview sheet. Nothing was said about it being illegal. The caretaker that called because she didn't want to pretended there was static on the line and said she would call me back. After waiting 5 minutes I called her back and got VM. I
called the ownerMike, who agreed with me that in my Dads circumstance it was appropriate. Said he had called APS with. No mention of my name, nor would there be one,and they said you could not do that. So he suggested he would go to buy childproof doorknob lock , as he had many other clients that use them. And he would put it on my Dad' doorknob problem solved. That did not happen. And APS was called and has been a pain in the ass! So first Care for com does not even know that's against the law then calls APS on me.
They id not take my dog for walks when they should have, per the care plan. I came home to dog pee having been tracked through my entire house by their shoes. They overfed my grandsons fish, and he died. The directions were to put 3 balls in the aquarium in the evening. The decorations were covered in food pellets. So I assume these caregivers cannot count to 3 ?!
There is care notebook signed by each caregiver at the end of shift. It is to be left at the home I had 2 small trips 1 1/2 days apart. First time it was left. 2nd time it was not. And they also took notes I had written on my own paper to cover/correct things from the first 2 1/2 days. They took those also although they were my property.

My mother, 86 years old, has employed ComForcare for 1 1/2 years. they came bi-weekly and did her house cleaning and laundry. ComForcare recently changed owners. After about a month or so with the new owners, they called and told my mother they would no longer clean her house and do her laundry. They said they would only do light dusting and visit with her, as a companion. That was a terrible way to treat my mother. DO NOT USE ComForcare is you care about your elderly parents or relatives. They were very unprofessional the way they basically "dumped" my mother.
