I only use this agency because it seems to be the only one affiliated with the VA in Philadelphia. The customer service is horrible. Here are some of the situations we have encountered. NO CALL NO SHOW from caregiver or agency. I call the agency, nobody calls back. I call the agency on the next scheduled day, they say nobody called out or is late today they should be there on schedule and will check into the no call. They said caregiver never called out. 10 minutes after shift supposed to start, no caregiver. I called agency again they said they will look to replace the caregiver if it's another no show. Minutes later the caregiver shows and says she called out at the agency and they were supposed to cover her shift the previous time. I called agency again before closing time. 3 hours later no return call. In the past we have had 2 people that brought their kids to work on several occasions. 2 male workers that fell sound asleep on a 2 hour shift. One's boyfriend that slept in the car out front and someone struggling with alcohol dependency. I have spoken to the owner myself on several occasions to try to resolve. I know the caregivers don't make much but that is no excuse for how things are run over there. The agency blames the caregivers and the caregivers blame the agency. They should be held accountable for the policy and procedures especially for the care of our veterans. The agency should not be affiliated with the VA if they cannot provide the care required.
