Got a French Brittany from Jay. At ~1 year old, I found out she had hip dysplasia. When we bought the pup, Jay assured us that he screens his dogs for hip issues with x-rays. It has become clear that this was not true. When I found out about my dog's issues, I requested x-rays from Jay which clearly showed the father had severe hip dysplasia (confirmed by OFA). I would steer clear of this breeder.
