The girls here that are on the staff and take care of the patients are absolutely WONDERFUL. In fact they are absolutely AMAZING, considering the fact that there is NEVER any leadership around, and there's 90 percent chance of NEVER having any administrative people around. The administrative Department, who is NEVER around, NEVER return calls, NEVER get you your information that you need until you constantly annoy them. Then when they do finally get you the information that you need, it's never up to date. They stay behind on everything. All the information that has been given to me,whether it's paperwork or verbal, has always been outdated and behind. The patients immunization shots, physicals, medications. All overdue and outdated.
The administrator, or administrative assistant at the Aurora Assisted Living, does not even have voice mail. She don't even have an answering machine. How can this be possible in this day and time?
What ever you do, don't try to call the home office. They also have the worse, most outdated phone system ever. If you don't know the name or extension of the person that will be able to assist you, then you are really in a spot. That's the only two choices you got. Even if you know the name or extension, all you ever get is voicemail. They NEVER return your call so don't wast your breath.
I want to let you know more about the staff. These WONDERFUL ladies have the biggest hearts, the greatest attitudes, and the best, most caring concern for the patients, I've ever seen. Their work ethics are outstanding. I actually see these ladies with Angle Wings. Even though, most of the time, they are understaffed, they manage to do their jobs and care for each patient, with love and respect. I truly love all these ladies and I thank God that these Angles are there for my brother. Wish I could just scoop them up and take them with me everywhere. I love you all.
One more thing. Why can't you keep an activities director. You never have one for more than 2 or 3 most out of the year. After all, isn't this part of the appeal in your advertisement?
