Parents please be aware of this agency. They are not equipped to take care of people living with disabilities. My son was with them for less than 1 month and had to go to the E.R twice for injuries that occured in their care. They pay their staff horribly therefore you get the quality of care you pay for. The staff leaves like a revolving door. They placed my son is a facility with violent men (and lied to me about the house being no violence). My son is not 100 pounds and small. The other clients where 5'10 to 6.2. Again, they lied to me about the house being free of violence! In addition, the police was called by one of the residents because he felt he was assaulted by an employee. I also witnessed staff speaking to the clients in a deeming way and was yelling at a person who could not speak up for himself. The staff was not trained on how to cook or prepare a balanced meal. To make it worse, my son required an one to one care giver in which they stated they could provide but was unable to do so as the days progressed. They hired young ladies as care givers but they were scared of the men in the house and was unable to break up fights when they occurred. I called Protective Services on this agency. The male clients confided in me (a parent) that they barely get out into the community and no one on the corporate team responds to their calls. I too had this problem when the house supervisor and the residential supervisor turned off their phones and the clients called me (a parent) due to a physical allitication that occured in the house. I can go on and on about the negligence of this company! Even down to them charging me for food and house items when I paid for my sons food and food for the other men out of my pocket so they could have a balanced meal!. I removed my son out of their care before 30 days was UP! Parents, guardians and love ones, please proceed with CAUTION....better yet RUN in the opposite direction. If you love your family member PLEASE go elsewhere!
