Angel Touch Private Care (ATPC) is a privately owned home care company by a master of nurse prepared Registered Nurse. The idea of starting a non-medical home care business was born out of many years experience in critical care nursing, home care, and sub-acute care facility where I successfully dealt with dementia and Alzheimer patients. Most of these patients were on many types of medication for their outburst and behaviors, but on the days I was on as the clinical nurse manager, my presence reduced theirrestlessness and outbursts. The effect I had on these patients showed that I will have more impact through non-medical care in their home environments. <br/> <br/>The purpose of ATPC is to provide to individuals and families in their places of residence care for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health, or minimizing the effect of disability and illness. <br/> <br/>The ATPC incorporated many facets in the company that offer to clients' variations of care, including holistic care that involves care of the mind, body, and soul. Our mission is to provide a happy environment for clients. Our clients need to live at peace in their home environment and our goal is to make that possible. Every client care is individualized according to what their physical needs are, and incorporating their emotional needs to achieve whole client satisfaction. Then an action plan is developed with client's approval to meet these needs. <br/> <br/>Moreover, as an advanced practice nurse I will contribute significant emotional support to my clients and families as they make significant medical decisions. I will also be consulting with staff about any ethical issues that may arise, managing an interdisciplinary team and disseminating practice and research findings to the team that can assist us in providing better care for our clients.… Read more
