Home Instead Senior Care is an affordable, non-medical provider of companionship and in-home care services to seniors and/or adults needing extra assistance in their homes or facilities. Our CAREGivers have been thoroughly screened, references and criminal backgrounds checked; and are covered by a fidelity bond and insured by a work-related accident policy for your protection. Home Instead Senior CAREGivers are employees of Home Instead Senior Care-not independent contractors. Social Security and relatedemployment taxes are paid by Home Instead Senior Care and the employee in accordance with State and Federal law. All our CAREGivers are also drug tested prior to them working. <br/> <br/>Our CAREGivers participate in an ongoing education and training program that focuses on topics such as safety and age related illnesses. Our CAREGivers are trained on how to care for clients with various types of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. We also provide training courses for our employees on personal care and how to care for clients with arthritis. Home Instead Senior CAREGivers can assist clients one-on-one with such tasks as bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, ambulation, transferring, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, errands, grocery shopping, incidental transportation to Doctor's appointments and other activities that enable seniors to remain "home instead" for a longer period of time. This office is licensed by and held accountable to the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. <br/> <br/>All our CAREGivers are personally introduced to our clients and our services include supervisory visits and follow up quality assurance calls. Special attention is given to match our CAREGivers with our clients to achieve utmost compatibility. All our CAREGivers are hired locally from the Southwest Houston & Fort Bend area. Our office staff is on call 24-hours, seven days a week in case of emergencies to provide extra support to our clients and CAREGivers. <br/> <br/>We do not bind clients to use our services for any length of time and Home Instead Senior Care only has a four-hour minimum per visit in order to receive our most competitive rate.
