Hey there! For 3+ decades I've devoted my life to caring for others, as a pastor and in other capacities. In asst. living centers, churches, and a senior non-profit, I've befriended individuals, developed and led group activities, and provided total personal care. Since care is more than just providing for a senior's physical needs, I would love to converse with your loved one, and, as possible and desired, drive in my Honda CR-V to parks, museums, arboretums, musicals and other productions, for lunch at a favorite restaurant, or just walk around the block. I am in excellent condition and a non-smoker. As time permits, I'm delighted to do house and other work: housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, doctor and appointments, etc. I have a happy and positive personality, and am understanding, a good listener, punctual, efficient, very hard-working and conscientious, and creative. I have been a teacher for 17 years and have given private music lessons for over 20 years. I have taught pre-k, K-8th grade music, and Kindergarten, and I have tutored students in various subjects.

I fell in love with babysitting as a teen and college student. After completing my college degree in elementary education, I taught third grade for three years, then spent many years being a wife to my husband Mike and a mama to our five precious children. I was also blessed with the opportunity to care for over 15 children in our home. It was a great opportunity to read, interact, and love these little ones while their parents worked. I am currently doing nanny work for three families, all part time; we enjoy doing many puzzles, going for walks, playing games, doing crafts, and reading lots of books. However, there are some transitions taking place in the next couple of months, so I am looking forward to serving other families in this area. I have over 7 years teaching overseas. I taught English as a Second Language to students from Kindergarten to College aged students. I have 3 years experience as a substitute teacher, covering all core subjects from 2nd to 8th grade. I taught full time as a middle school teacher. I taught 6th and 7th grade social studies. 7th and 8th grade math. 6th, 7th and 8th grade science.

I've run a home for over 40 years and done everything needed to make a household function effectively while raising 5 children. I am interested in a variety of jobs and can pretty much do anything, have my own car, and enjoy people.

I am an energetic west Texas girl who has experienced a little bit of wanderlust over the past few years, and I am thrilled to find myself in Savannah, GA! I am the store manager of a jewelry life-style brand out of Austin, TX called Kendra Scott. Growing up my mom kept kids in our home, so I have been around child care my whole life. I babysat throughout high school, and in college found myself incredibly attached to a witty 7-year-old and the world's most charming 4-year-old that I had the privilege of being a nanny to. All of this being said, I love what am I learning from being a retail manager for a company who is not only driven by fashion, but includes philanthropy as a core value, however, I am so passionate about the little ones and am confident that I am happiest when I am given the opportunity to be a part of a child's life.

30 years tutoring experience one-on-one with learning disabled and dyslexic clients, using the Multisensory Approach Reading Proficiency for Remedial lessons. {Ex: Phonemic awareness, phonics, Multi-sensory strategies for reading, writing & spelling Syllabication patterns for encoding/decoding). Since 2016, in Las Vegas, NV, I have been teaching children with ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, & struggling readers. I assist your learner K4-adults in phonics & reading proficiency, rebuilding their self-confidence and self-esteem for success. Also, I was a Home School Instructor for 5 yrs; teaching my own children to excel in reading & language, in which 1 entered the gifted program in High School, benefiting her college entrance. I have done nanny jobs full time for over 20 years. I have done a variety of other work including pet and house sitting, cleaning, errands etc.

I have my bachelor's degree in early childhood/elementary education, and have experience in many aspects of childcare. I love kids of all ages, and I've been involved in day camps, nurseries, and nannying jobs since I was about 12 years old. I am available to babysit any age, as well as tutor. I have previously taught preschool-third grade.
