About

Fall Semester Session 1 (August-October)

This semester we will focus on the emotions tied to colors. We will work to create artwork based around a variety of different emotions and discuss how to use colors to build emotions in our work.

Students are expected to have a basic understanding of the color wheel and color mediums (oil pastel, colored pencils, acrylic paint, watercolor, etc)

This class is for students wanting to build on the basics of painting and drawing by diving deep into color theory. Students use elements and principles of design to create full, functional, and stylish compositions while focusing on various color schemes and theories.

Through the guidance of an instructor students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while exploring color theory.

Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Materials are not provided for this class. Students may choose which painting or drawing medium to work in.
