You should know that I found out in a horrible way that Fetch is only insured up to $10,000 if your pet is hurt in their care. My dog was let off his leash while being pet sit by a Fetch employee and went into my neighbor's yard and fell 15-20 feet and almost died.

At first Fetch told us that they're paying the vet bills and not to even worry. Well, 24 hour emergency care quickly ran past $10K in three or four days, and they told us their insurance wouldn't cover it. Fetch asked if we could pay any of it, and we didn't have insurance and never had major health problems with our pets before, so we couldn't. Fetch agreed to pay an extra $5,500 of the vet bill only if I signed a waiver that I wouldn't sue them and I wouldn't ask for any more money. We ended up paying another $5,000 in vet bills not counting medication and missed work.

Thank god my dog is still alive at this point, and was able to leave the hospital after 8 days, but I feel really sick about the fact that they wouldn't pay for the full vet bills that were a result of their employee's negligence.

Honesty, everyone at the company seem like good people and accidents happen, I'm not even mad at the pet sitter at this point. I just think everyone should be aware that their "peace of mind" pledge is false.

If you use Fetch, make sure you have your own pet insurance and just know that their coverage is limited, even if your pet's injury is their fault.

Care and love shown to my pet is amazing. Fetch! definitely puts the needs of our cherished pets first. I immediately connected with Rachel who has both dogsat and walked Marli for me. I am a first time pet owner and Rachel's experience and love of dogs has been a real comfort and benefit to me right from the start. I am confident that Marli is in good hands whenever she is with Rachel.

Very customer and pet focused and loved that the pet sitter also brings in the mail and waters house plants if needed! Our pet sitter texted me after her first visit to let me know that all was well which was a nice touch. My cat Mingus was in very capable hands and I trusted that he was being loved and taken care of in our absence. Thanks so much!

It was important to me to meet the caretaker before leaving my pet in her care. She was very knowledgeable and professional, I appreciated that she patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. She also contacted me after each visit, which gave me peace of mind while on vacation. She was respectful when visiting my home, and most importantly she seemed genuinely kind and enthusiastic about caring for my cat. I feel confident that he was left in good hands.
