About

Designed as an early introduction to coding, this camp teaches aspiring game designers and programmers Scratch, a dynamic interactive coding, game creation & storytelling platform from MIT. Students will learn how to animate characters, build creative games, and create fun stories with a visual block coding environment. No prior coding experience is required. NOTE: NO Camp on Thursday, July 4th.

This camp provides a great foundation for Junior Minecraft camp programs!

General Student Skills Requirements
• Ability to access an Internet browser and navigate the web
• Ability to navigate between multiple windows during class
• Ability to cut & paste using Ctrl X, C and V (windows), or Command X, C and V (mac).
