About

This new camp teaches the skills to design your own website from scratch! Campers are introduced to the fundamentals of front-end web development, learning how to structure and style web pages with HTML5 and CSS. Learn how the pros add design and functionality to their websites using HTML - a dynamic markup language and CSS - Cascading Style Sheets. We’ll learn about the design principles and layout techniques that make a website attractive, interactive, and easy to use. Campers can unleash their imaginations and their inner entrepreneurs as they build and customize their own websites. By the end of the camp, our young web designers will have a functional website, and leave equipped with the knowledge of what it takes to become a web developer.

If your camper likes this class, they will love the YouTube Content Creator or Virtual Reality.

General Student Skills Requirements
• Ability to access an Internet browser and navigate the web
• Ability to navigate between multiple windows during class
• Ability to cut & paste using Ctrl X, C and V (windows), or Command X, C and V (mac).
