Return to the world of DotS, MDV's own original role-playing game. Capture mystical creatures known to the world as Untethered; learn about them through study, interaction, and battle as you work to increase your strength as a Summoner. Choose from three Summoner archetypes, each with their own strengths, and discover skills such as "Seeing" the unique dimensional energy of Untethered, or using their abilities yourself as an Augment. If you enjoy Pokemon, you'll enjoy DotS!
This campaign will be using the DotS RPG system that focuses on fast, dynamic combat and promotes and rewards flexible thinking. This system has been tested and developed with players over the past two years.
Disclaimer: The game will feature sequences of fantasy combat, such as fighting a dragon or goblins. There will be no gore, and player actions regarding violence will be moderated by the Game Runner. Immoral actions, like hurting innocents or threatening other players, are not allowed.
The age range for this series is approximate. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis depending on a player's age, maturity level, and scheduling availability.
We will need a minimum of 3 players enrolled in the session for it to run. If we don't have enough players enrolled, you will be informed the morning of and receive a full refund/credit as you choose. If you have any questions, please reach out to greetings@mdv.world.
This session will take place online at roll20.net and Google Meet. To access your game, simply log in to Roll20, go to "My Games", and click "Launch Game," or keep an eye on your email for the game and Meet links. Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your player's attendance at least 48 hours before a session, you can be credited the full amount of your purchase on request. Refunds consist of the cost of registration minus a $2 administrative fee per session. This administrative fee covers credit card fees and clerical work associated with issuing the refund. If a session is cancelled by MDV, you may choose to receive account credit, or have the full cost refunded in the manner it was paid. Please submit any scheduling changes via email to greetings@mdv.world. We reserve the right to cancel a session date if the number of participants is inadequate.
