I have worked in a special needs school for young people on the autism spectrum for the past 6 years, as well as caring 1 on 1 for a young man with a rare chromosome disorder which causes cerebral palsy, speech impediment and inability to walk. I also have assisted in raising my own brother who has low functioning autism.
