I have recently moved to Wanaka on a Work and Holiday Visa for the year from Vermont in the USA. I am very excited to start looking for pet sitting and dog walking positions here in NZ. I love to spend time with animals and I grew up with dogs and cats (and the occasional hermit crab and fish). I loved to take my dog Shadow hiking and swimming (her favorite pastime). My cat Satsuki loved to cuddle and my dog Abby loved to play fetch with a frisbee. Before moving I worked with a few families in Vermont dog and cat sitting. My first job was at a cat veterinary hospital, taking care of the boarding cats and even giving them their medications if they had any. I have also spent a year and a half working as a Nanny/Household Manager for a lovely family. Before that I was an Au Pair in The Netherlands for a year. Both families I worked for had three children, their ages ranging from newborn to 6 years old. In addition to this experience I worked at an After School program for five years and did babysitting on the side.
