I grew up on my parent's lifestyle block and was constantly surrounded by animals - our dogs, cats, cows, ducks, pigs... and I miss this environment very much. I study full-time here in the city and live in a flat where I, unfortunately, cannot have my own pet. I volunteered at the Dunedin SPCA for 1 year mainly in the canine area, where I walked, fed, cleaned the living area and cared for the puppies. I had also completed a qualification in Vet Nursing while in Dunedin. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I also voluntarily take friend's dogs for walks out of personal enjoyment. I have considered volunteering at the Wellington SPCA, but due to my work-study-extracurricular life, it is not easy for me to do so. I am a very responsible and honest person and I would love to care for your pet.
