Growing up, I have always had pets to call my best friends. And it was ingrained in me from an early age the responsibilities and care that goes into having an animal. We moved every 5 years or so across the United States, and none of our fur babies were ever left behind, four dogs, three cats, three snakes, and a turtle. Whether it is cross-country or cross-continental, pets are family and must be treated as such. I love animals with all my being, wether they are mine or not. Being 26 now, I have cat, Buddha is his name, (I think he was a dog in his past life) that I brought to NZ from the States (talk about transportation experience). I do not have any professional experience with pets but I can promise that I will care for any animal as if he/she were mine. My experience with animals is now second nature in day to day life, training, and cuddling. I'm happy going for casual walks in the many parks around Auckland, taking them to beach for extra exercise, pet sitting for as long as necessary, training, grooming... anything.
