I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have recently finished my summer position in Canada as the Camp Director of a camp for children with invisible disabilities. I was assistant camp director at this camp for 2 years prior to this, and a camp counselor for 4 years prior to that. I love working with children! I know that each child is unique and I found this the case when working with kids with invisible disabilities. I pride myself on my ability to be empathetic with children and understand where they are coming from while helping them understand how to be safe and respectful and still have fun! Before working at the summer camp, I was a nanny for my next door neighbors. They had 2 children under 4 and I was doing 3 full days a week. I learned a lot about entertaining young children and creating fun and interesting activities for them.
