Hey there, I’m Bea and I’m a big sister to 4 younger siblings, one of whom has high functioning autism. I’ve looked after each of them since I was in my early teens, from a baby to teenager. I worked at a summer scheme for autistic children and young people for 7 years and became a senior team leader there. For the past two summers I’ve worked at Camp America, supporting girls and young women aged between 6 and 16. I was the arts and crafts counsellor and love organising activities and coming up with games! Most recently I spent 6 months as an au pair for a family in Taupo, their son and daughter aged 2 and 6 respectively. I absolutely loved this role and am still in contact with the family! I am a responsibile and organised babysitter, I’m fun-loving and love creative activities and playing games. I’m all about empowering children and ensuring a firm but fair approach!
