Hi! My name is Maëna and I’m 19 years old. I live in Gap, in the Hautes-Alpes in the south of France. As I write this letter I have just finished my first year of law school in Arles, in another city in the south of France. But you must surely be wondering why I want to be an au pair in your country... Well this year, during my first post-baccalaureate year, I realized that law was perhaps not for me. and that I would like to travel better and be in contact with others, that's why I aim to complete training at Air France in September 2025 to become a flight attendant ! Mastery of the English language is fundamental for this job, so I decided to do something that I had wanted to do for a long time: be an au pair and therefore improve my English, which I practice as well. To talk about children, I have always had a good relationship with them, which is why last year I decided to take the BAFA, which in France is the certificate of aptitude for the functions of animator to supervise children and teenagers… This made me more creative and rigorous :) By nature too, I laugh easily with children, I am patient and organized !
