| I'm a dedicated and passionate educator with over 10 years of classroom teaching and private tutoring experience. As a tutor, I conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions (virtually and in-person) for children in grades K - 7 in math, English & French literacy, social studies, and science, as well as for adults. I create and implement individual learning programs for each student based on their individual needs and goals. I evaluate student performance throughout each session and regularly adjust content accordingly based on their academic and emotional needs. Furthermore, I meet and collaborate with students’ parents to create realistic learning goals, and communicate with students' teachers to ensure consistency. I have been successful in raising student achievement in math, with students regularly surpassing grade level expectations. I set up some sessions as mock-tests & mock-interviews to prepare students for tests & interviews. I have succeeded in preparing multiple children and adults to pass entrance exams to top-rated, rigorous, private high schools and universities in Canada and the US.
