| Background I am a Fourth year Computer Science student with a passion for Mathematics. I've always loved helping my friends and colleagues with math problems, and was a volunteer math tutor all throughout High School. I have also participated in multiple University of Waterloo Mathematics and Computing Contests, receiving Certificates of Distinction and School Champion awards throughout High School. Methodology Through developing close relationships with students I am able to tailor my teaching style to best suit their needs and resonate with them even if they are feeling frustrated with (or are confused by) the material. By remaining calm and friendly in every situation, I am able to work as a team with students to pinpoint any existing ambiguities or confusion, as well as introduce new content in a gradual and iterative manner to ensure a solid foundation for the future.
