| I am a Year One Teacher Candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University in Primary/Junior division. I have experience in the in-person classroom and the online classroom! I have also completed my Honours Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in French Studies. Through my courses I have been immersed in the French Language and Culture. As a student who does not have French speaking family, I have learned how I learn languages. I have taught French at a private Saturday extra help school, I tutor an 8 year old boy and I have worked as a camp counsellor. In addition to all my experience working with children, I have had other Bilingual Customer Service jobs and I was a French Instructional Assistant at my University. I have completed the Foundations in Teaching and Learning certificate as well as the High Five Certificate. All of my experiences have led me to become the leader and educator I am today and I hope to continue to influence and inspire other students.
