| Hello! My name is Christian, and I am entering my third year of the Honors Neuroscience program at the University of Alberta in the fall of 2020. In high school, I achieved 95% or better in every course that I took, including the 10, 20 and 30 levels of English, Social and Math, and the 20 and 30 levels of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Having received 100% on the written components of the English 30 and Social Studies 30 diplomas, and a 5 on the Advanced Placement English exam, I am also comfortable teaching improved writing skills. I believe that this level of success is attainable for anyone with the right tools, and I would love to show you how. My interests include racquet sports and hanging out with our six cats and two dogs. Tutoring since 2015, I am a personable and friendly instructor who gets to know students and lays an attainable plan for success based on goals. | Hi there! My name is Brianna, and I’ve recently been accepted to the University of Alberta to finish my degree in Kinesiology. I am originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, where I completed a degree in Biology-Psychology, and I hope to become a medical doctor in the future. For the past two years, I have been working as an Educator for Little Lions Waldorf Daycare. I have had the opportunity to work with infants up to school age and have loved every minute of it! I also have been working as support staff for a family with children with higher needs (cerebral palsy and autism). Here I have been able to work with children ages 7-16 and have been educated in gentle teaching, ASL and their specific needs. Additionally, I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and Food Safety. I spend much of my free time outdoors and I also enjoy many sports. When it comes to children, I love to get them outdoors as much as possible to keep them active, teach them about nature, or even complete fun science experiments. With school being online this year, I have also had the opportunity to help tutor children in English, French, math, science, and social studies; therefore, I am comfortable helping with any homework/tutoring.

| Hi, I'm Ted! I moved to Edmonton in 2014 to started studying education (secondary route) at Grant MacEwan and eventually transferred to the University of Alberta. I am majoring in General Sciences and a minoring in Mathematics. My family is from South Korea where I had experience teaching English to students Grade 1 to 6. I'm hoping to find more experience in teaching by tutoring in fields that I am currently studying. I am in my 3rd year in my degree and starting my practicum in January. I am fun, energetic, and find great satisfaction in teaching. I love those moments when the light bulbs go off in my students' faces. And for bachelors I wanted to direct my career towards something I was genuinely interested in learning, Economics. Dear Hiring Manager, While my experience isn't specifically tutoring, I do have experience teaching children. This summer in China, I taught English as a foreign language. The experience was challenging and rewarding, and I love to share knowledge that can give kids a big head start in their education, and adults a boost in their career. I am very passionate about corporate social responsibility, so I have been a volunteer educator in St. Albert for the past two years.
