I’ve had opportunities to work alongside people with disabilities throughout my life. My brother has multiple disabilities ( ADHD, ADD, sensory processing disorder & high functioning autism), which I have had to privillage to guide him through his life. I’ve been teaching music for close to 8 years now and I have had students with mental and physical disabilities. In my undergrad I studied music and disabilities. I am currently in the primary/junior education program at Redeemer university. I finished my first year and during my placement I was a student teacher to a grade 2 class. Having the opportunity to teach kids in the class with all abilities and modified each lesson where need be for each student. I am very flexible, very helpful and easy going.
