Senior Care in Rigaud

| I worked as a hospital orderly from ####-####, while in school and a bit afterwards, helping geriatric clients in chronic and acute care environments. I learned the principles of moving patients safely in and out of beds, chairs and commodes, as well as the importance of proper preventative hygiene. I also gained experience helping patients at all stages of dementia. I am an educated, curious and patient conversationalist. A good listener, I take a sincere interest in people. I have always treated the elderly, those close to me and complete strangers, with respect, patience and compassion. I am a guitarist and singer, and have volunteered regularly at the Ste-Anne's Veteran Hospital as a performer since July 2017.

| I have worked in both private settings and government settings concerning elderly care. In 2001, I attended a course to become an orderly. From 2003 to 2006 I attended Jonh Abbott College as a nursing student. I have the diploma as a nurse but I have never practiced in a medical setting. I am kind, conscientious and very empathic. I am confortable with the many tasks involved when assisting an elderly citizen. I am bilingual.

| In all the years I have worked for these residences I have bathed, cleaned , help transfer and etc. I had worked on the floor for about 5yrs then became manager of the 3 locations for 15yrs. I recently let go of my job do to change of ownership.
