This includes helping with dressing, bathing, using the toilet, and eating, as well as assisting with mobility.
Providing personal care:
This involves ensuring hygiene, dressing, and grooming needs are met.
Administering medication:
This includes reminding individuals to take their medications and assisting with their administration, according to care plans and procedures.
Monitoring health and well-being:
This involves observing for changes in health, taking vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel.
Providing emotional support and companionship:
This includes being a friendly presence, engaging in conversation, and helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
Supervising other care staff:
This includes training new staff, providing support and guidance, and ensuring quality of care delivery.
Maintaining records:
This involves keeping records of daily activities, observations, and any changes in the individual's condition.
