Senior Care in Coaldale

| I have worked in the health care field for 10 plus years. I have enjoyed it very much and have recently started doing some home care which I find very rewarding. I can provide excellent references as well as a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector. I am a certified health care aid and have taken the supportive pathways course. I have extensive experience with dementia being a child of a parent who had dementia as well as working with residents diagnosed with dementia.

| I have worked with disabled children for almost 2yrs through Edenbridge Family Services in Lethbridge, Alberta. I am ready for a change of course. I absolutely love the elderly. I enjoy a lot of the same things the ladies do. Sewing, reading (I would read to them if they asked me to), cross stitching, quilting, etc. I am 45 yrs old. I am a mother of 5 grown children and a grandmother to 7. I have energy to spare for walks outside, swimming or even car rides. I am a great listener but cant sing well. I like cats but really love my two dogs, Pixiedust and Max. I was afraid if I got a cat I become the crazy cat lady. So instead I'm the crazy dog lady. I love the heat, cant stand the cold. I like tea and coffee. My Grandmother taught me to eat what was on my plate. I brush my teeth twice a day. I cannot listen to the radio and look for road signs at the same time. I want to be able to help someone have a better day. I encourage smiling and positivity in everything I do. I want these people to know they can trust me and count on me to be their right hand woman when needed. I want them to know there are still good people out there who care about them and they are not just a pay check.
