I myself have had many different animals in my life and I have also pet sit many friends and families cats and dogs for just a few days to week long vacations. During these jobs I have had to give animals medication, follow certain routines and specific diets and am comfortable following these detailed guidelines and instructions provided by the pet owner ( I’d do that same for my dog ). | It is my belief that pets are truly members of our family. Being a pet parent it can cause a great deal of stress to have to leave them overnight or longer. There are many facilities available to drop your pet off but why stress your pet (and yourself) out by taking them out of their home. I have been known as the pet whisperer. They say that animals have an instinct if people are good or not. Let them meet me and they can tell you that they would be happy to have me stay in your home and give them cuddles and reassurance while you are away. Also doesn't hurt that my sister in law is a veterinarian and lives in Guelph as well.
