Experienced, confident, and patient dog-walker.
| I have had medium-sized mixed breed rescue dogs (puppy and adults) for 10+ years. I currently have an adult medium Border Collie-Australian shepherd fixed male whom I walk in the neighbourhood, parks, and forests several times a week. I have undergone puppy training and puppy/adult walk training and am confident walking 1-3 small-to-medium dogs and 1-2 medium-large dogs in the neighbourhoods and local forest trails (while leashed). I am comfortable with most dogs who wear snout leads/bite collars/muzzles while walking, as these are meant to keep the dog and others safe when used correctly. Not preferred: body harnesses for medium-large dogs and flex-leashes for all dogs, as these provide little control and communication between dog and walker. Must be reasonably well-behaved on walks but I am open to working with dogs with leash-reactivity and other challenges, as many dogs react out of fear/confusion/stress rather than pure anger/aggression. Please note I am not a certified trainer but rather someone who is passionate about giving dogs their full quality of life. I am also comfortable with stopping by to feed your pets.
