| Ive lived with cats since i was 4. Something ive noticed is that animals tend to gravitate to me, even the grumpy or shy cats warm up to me quickly. It could be that they sense my love for them or something else, whatever the reason was sooner or later they start to love me as much as i love them. I have a little story that shows this. When i was 4 my family's cat gave birth to 3 kittens, soon after she ran away, leaving her babies behind. My grandma adopts 1 that was probably Siamese and names him Smudge. He's was a 2 person cat but lost that second person, until i filled in that place. Smudge even bitten me once, but then covid came and i got to spend more time with him. It only took a few days of looking after him for Smudge to finally warm up to me. He started with sleeping on the bed with me and soon after i got to pet him without any hissing or swatting at me.
