I have gardened for many of my neighbors in the area and also this past year (2020) I had a gardening job for summer and fall of 40 hours per week. I know many plants as I tend to read plant books for fun and learning. I pace myself while I work and I am always proud of my completed tasks. I am quiet, calm and happy. I am really into heirloom plant breeds and growing awesome food. I love composting and making my own soil and building raised beds, greenhouses, all sorts of items to improve the garden. Some of my favorite flowers are pansies, lupins, delphiniums, holly hocks, I grow many of these from seeds. My veggies of choice are swiss chard, 4 types of kale, mesclun lettuce mix ....I am a happy garden geek. Feb 2024, I am taking a break from gardening.
