My name is Taylor. I am a 4th year education student, who also studies theatre and Teaching French. I offer services to students in Kindergarten to grade 12 in English and French (including immersion). I am a bright, organized and personable teacher who has received high praise from all my clients. I am bilingual and as previously stated, I study second language acquisition, so I am well equipped with strategies and tools for new language learners. As a tutor, I make sure to take extra time in creating personal lessons for each of my students that targets their own learning struggles as well as integrating their own interests, making the learning fun and relative to their lives. I have 6 years of tutoring experience working with a variety of ages. I have completed a 3 month teaching practicum, during which I completed 70 teaching and observational hours in a classroom. I also work with the City of Ottawa as a summer camp coordinator. Each of my experiences have provided me with the tools to lesson plan and execute lessons, while having a fun and interactive teaching style.
