Over the past 4 years I have had a number of different volunteer tutoring positions with a variety of programs, for students ranging from grades 4 to 12, with varying abilities and needs. Within these programs I have worked with students deemed 'at risk', students with behavioural issues and special needs of all kinds, as well as students to whom English is a second language. I am extremely passionate about education, and as a newly graduated McMaster University student, I am now pursuing this in attending Teacher's College at the University of Toronto in the fall. I believe in positive approaches to teaching in order to make learning fun and believe I have the skills that students would expect from a tutor.
