My name is Quan and I have over five years of math tutoring experience in the subject of Grade 9-12 math, pre-calculus 11/12 and calculus. I am very familiar with BC math curriculum and have helped over 25 students to improve their math skills. I am extremely patient and grounded, and have good attention to detail. I am easy to get along with. Everything I do is with passion and dedication especially when it comes to teaching math. About my education, I received my bachelor degree in Chemical engineering in Zhejiang University, China. I furthered my education in Canada and received my Master degree in Mechanical engineering in 2012 and PhD in biomedical engineering in 2017 both at the University of British Columbia. As a scientist and engineer, math is my strength and is used throughout my education and research.
