Hi my name is Summer! I have 9 years experience working with children and adults and seniors who have Autism or learning disabilities, diabetes, brain injuries, developmental and speech delays, muscle dystrophy and non verbal. My family and myself have taken in people with such challenges and I grew up learning the ins and outs of providing full time and quality care. I am well versed in the needs and attention to detail that such a privilege entails and I take it very seriously. I have experience in giving medication and have cared for a severe diabetic in the past. I have experience with teaching basic skills, such as grooming or social skills and have lived with people who needed my assistance in those departments. I am patient as I am a mother of a 3 year old boy, I have learned how to use clear direction, a gentle tone. I can provide support with brushing teeth, hair, finding clothes, assist with dressing, prepping meals, and basic cleaning skills. I can help with safety and provide support in social settings.
