My name is Lorraine and I am a residential support worker currently, working in a group home here in Winnipeg. I am looking for an opportunity to work for an individual who is closer in proximity to my home. I am a very hard worker who believes in having integrity and treating everyone with the same dignity and respect that I would expect if I was in need of help or care. I love to make the people i work with feel well supported and comfortable and I do so by doing the little things that sometimes gets overlooked by others. Things such as a little note at the end of my shift saying what a wonderful day it was or little reminders that sometimes can make life easier or more productive, by remembering what the client said, whether its something they wanted to purchase or a certain movie they want to remember to watch on t.v. . I truly believe it is the little things that can have the most profound difference in life.
