I have 9+ years of experience providing child care for children ages 0 and up. I have worked at an after school program for 3 years. There were some children in my program who had Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, speech delay and seizures. I provided positive reinforcement and behavioural management as needed. I got to know the children very well in order to know what works best for them in regards to their inclusion and comfortability within our program. I am student at College in the Communicative Disorders Assistant program. A skill that I've developed in my program is to be flexible and creative when implementing activities to cater best to the child's interests in a fun, exciting and interactive way.
