I have had a passion for working with people with disabilities since I was a kid. I played with the students in CBI classes during recess all throughout elementary, and I spent all four years of high school volunteering two hours a day in the special needs classrooms. After graduating I have worked with multiples families, from infant care to elderly and I've loved every second of it. I've most recently worked with an eight year old girl with down syndrome, and currently work with adults with TBIs. My goal has always been to better the lives of others so I'm open helping in any way I am able. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, backpacking and camping, so I would be more than willing to take people out on outings, or even rock climbing, etc, depending on their age, interests and abilities. I look forward to finding new families to work with through this site! Though my main interest is special needs care I am more than comfortable working with infants and children without disabilities as I have done so, and enjoyed it, in the past.
