My fulltime role is as a PSW Supervisor. I specialize in clients with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Complex Comorbid disabilities/ diseases. I have advanced experience reducing responsive behaviours in clients. My degree is in Gerontology and I have a diploma in Recreation Therapy. I work primarily with older adults. I have medication management training, U-First certification, in addition I have been trained to provide support with bathing, grooming, feeding and assisting with activities of daily living. I am also a healthcare services navigator and care planner, I can be hired for a one time needs assessment, to improve the safety in your home to reduce hazards and falls risks. I can assist in navigating the Ontario healthcare system, lingo and obstacles, connect you to more services and improve the overall quality of care for you or your parent. I can also create a monthly activity calendar, and engage you in therapeutic programs, exercise (specializing in falls prevention training), creative arts/ music, anything your interested in you name it! My fee is negotiable dependent on the situation. No overnights or Live in Care.
