I am a young professional (Law Clerk) that works Monday to Friday. We currently have 2 Australian Shepherds, Jersey and Ava. Jersey is our miracle girl - at only 6 months of age she required heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart that she was born with. After a month of recovery, she is completely healed and is now expected to live a full, normal life. I've been told not everyone would be willing to go to such lengths for their dog, but our dogs are a part of our family, and I'd do anything for them. That being said, I understand the importance these four legged fur balls and the importance of having someone you can trust caring for your dogs and other loved pets. A little about me: I love animals, in particularly dogs, and grew up with a variety of animals and have in depth experience with: - dogs of all ages (puppies, seniors, and everything in between!) - dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Cane Corsos!) - I have done training classes with my dogs and therefore have some background in training techniques to help reinforce training - experience caring for pregnant dogs (I grew up in a home where we had a breeding pair of dogs and I assisted my mother with this process numerous times) - experience working with a deaf dog, using vibrations and hand signals - experience with cats - experience caring for a variety of birds - including parrots and hand feeding babies - experience caring for a variety of reptiles and snakes - experience caring for small animals (hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) I also have extensive experience caring for sick and injured dogs, including post-surgery and medication administration.
