Hi! I am a 26 year old licensed practical nurse (LPN), who has been missing looking after children, as I have done so since I was 12 years old. I am the daughter of a preschool teacher, and spent a large portion of my teenage years helping my mom with her preschool program. Before going to nursing school I spent 3 years nannying full time, and transitioned to babysitting while going to school. I have cared for varying ages, from around 3 months to 12 years old, and also teach piano to young children. I am willing to provide light housekeeping, as long as it does not interfere with the care your child receives. Commonly, I will tidy up after the children (while still encouraging them to tidy as well), and do dishes and laundry, typically after the children have gone to bed in the evenings. I do not mind cooking meals for the children, and am comfortable with bathing and nighttime routines. I have 2 cats and a dog of my own, so I am happy to be in a pet friendly home! I currently work as a nurse at an ear, nose, and throat clinic in Edmonton, and have regular Monday to Friday office hours. I find, however, that I have free time on weekends and some evenings, and would love to spend that time with children again.
