Hi, I'm Sukhvir! Having graduated from UofT, I'm now working towards becoming a counsellor for children and women. I have several years in both customer service experience with a focus on childhood education/experience/interaction, as well as childcare that involved interacting with children, providing care/babysitting, and providing various learning experiences (tutoring, workshops, leadership programs, etc.) to help them grow their curiosities! One of my favourite things to do is to bake with children (especially my little cousins and nieces!) since we get to enjoy the delicious things we make, but also because I love to see kids grow confidence in themselves through their creativity, and learning basic skills. It's taught me to be okay and deal with the messes when exploring fun things! My approach in interacting with children is to always be patient, and to listen to their needs in order to really understand their personalities and identity, so that they feel affirmed and comfortable with who they are. I have open availability, I am CPR/First Aid certified with the latest update from April 2017, I have my own mode of transportation, and I also have references from previous parents as well as a former manager if requested.
