hi hello, i'm remi (they/them). i’ve been a nanny for over eight years and have a love of building relationships with kids and helping them to feel seen, loved, and capable. I have worked in many family homes and in a daycare, with kids ranging in age from newborn to 6yo. I believe in gentle and respectful caregiving and love working with families who do as well! I also look for families who celebrate the queer/trans community. Here’s what you can expect from me as your caregiver: -lots of comforting, validating hard feelings, and helping them learn healthy ways to process and express those feelings -years of learned knowledge about baby/child development -embarrassing myself in public to bring your kid joy :)) -celebrating them and helping them feel good about who they are -making up songs for everything -a balance of engaging with them and giving them independent play time -lots of outside time encouraging them to get dirty and develop a bond with nature -building a beautiful relationship with them (this is the best part, it’s magic) looking for part-time work! am flexible with days/hours. all the best,
