Hello Families! My name is Nadia, and I am a 22-year-old university student set to graduate this spring with a psychology degree and a place on the Dean's list. I am working towards a career in child psychology, so I often utilize my knowledge with play-based learning that assists in development. With eleven years of childcare experience spanning from newborns to fourteen-year-olds and six years of specialized work with children with disabilities such as anxiety disorders, FASD, RAD, and Autism, I bring a diverse skill set to you. Alongside childcare, I am happy to help with cleaning, cooking, and pet care. For the past 2.5 years, I have volunteered as a child advocate at the Zebra Child & Youth Protection Centre, providing support to children and families affected by child abuse. Furthermore, I have dedicated my time to volunteering with several child-centred organizations, including Positively Princess'd, Shiloh Youth Ranch, Wolves Drama Club, and a local church's grade 5&6 group.
