I graduate from Brigham Young University-Idaho this December with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Criminology. Almost graduating University is an extremely exciting time in my life. I have gained an immense amount of knowledge that will not only help me with my future career but also will help me be a better caregiver for your family. I have taken several child development classes and behavioral courses that have emphasized childhood and adolescence years. These courses have allowed me to be more sympathetic and understanding to childhood needs that I can implement in your home. Besides from taking University classes, I have many years of experience with working with young children and adolescences, which includes a 6-month internship at a daycare center. My recent year's of experience includes nannying for two families that I love (they are the flower girls and ring barriers in my profile picture), a young boy who was one year old, and a 3-month-old. I have years of experience working with children aging from 3 months- 13 years old. I have also worked with twins, children that are autistic, and a child that has down syndrome. I have experience teaching a young child baby sign language that helped develop his communication skills and fine motor skills. I am always looking for ways to teach the children that I nanny for and making sure they are always around a positive environment, provide creative, fun and crafty activities. I love playing with the children, having fun with them, developing their needs, and most importantly keeping them safe. I am currently looking for a full-time position, Monday-Friday. I am available to start interviews or even working April 10th, this is when I return to Canada from my final on-campus semester. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
